Patrick Kennedy, D-R.I., recently sponsored a bill that attempts to amend the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for the first time in 46 years — and remove religious exemptions for faith-based organizations that receive federal funds.
Iraqis Approved of U.S. Leadership Under Bush More Than Obama, Says Gallup Poll - (CNSNews.com) - With President Barack Obama preparing to give a speech Tuesday night from the Oval Office announcing the end of the U.S. combat mission in Iraq, recently released polling data from the Gallup indicates that the Iraqi people approved of U.S. leadership more under President George W. Bush, who invaded their country and overthrew the dictatorial regime of Saddam Hussein, then they do under Obama, who opposed the invasion of Iraq and has repeatedly vowing to have all U.S. troop out of that country by the end of 2011.

(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration’s reference to Arizona’s immigration law in a report to the U.N. Human Rights Council has caused a stir, but its decision to engage with the body in the first place has drawn criticism for a lot longer. “The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to ‘review’ by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional,” Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer wrote to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
HHS Took More Than A Year to Release Its Abstinence-Education Study, Which Contradicts Obama’s Stance
(CNSNews.com) - A majority of adolescents and 70 percent of their parents believe sex should be confined to marriage, according to a federally funded study released Monday by an agency within the Health and Human Services Department. Although the report on the taxpayer-funded study was completed by February 2009, HHS did not release it until last week, prompting speculation that the Obama administration did not like the report’s conclusions.

Deceptive ‘Anti-Bullying’ Act Introduced in U.S. Senate, Pushed by Gay Activists - The Safe Schools Improvement Act – which was introduced this week by Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa. – defines bullying as, hostile conduct based on someone’s actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity, among other attributes.
